Stephanie & Matt

Stephanie and I attended Bear Creek Elementary together and remained friends through high school. When she became engaged, I immediately asked if I could be her wedding florist. I was thrilled to be able to create a sweet and soft theme for one of the most kind-hearted people I know.

She choose cherry blossoms, fresh fruit and a splash of lime green for her spring wedding. We incorporated pears and apples into the reception centerpieces. The array of flowers included roses, ranunculus, green hypericum, alstroemeria and cherry blossoms. The cake topper was one of my favorites of all time. It was a round bunch of soft pink ranunculus intwined with curly willow. It tied into her theme perfectly.

Their wedding reception location, Hidden Meadows in Snohomish, is one of my favorites. Ben Blood Photography captured the rustic beauty of the location in many of their images.

Little know fact: Stephanie and I sang "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" at our fifth grade pancake breakfast.

Jen & Micah

Last summer Jen & Micah tied the knot at Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish, WA. Their wedding was fun, stylish and very original. Jen chose yellow and charcoal as her wedding colors and wanted unique flowers with a mixture of textures. Her bouquet consisted of spider mums, dusty miller and pom pom balls.

Her wedding decor was beautiful and looked like it came out of the Anthropologie catalog. She used a box of grass to hold her reception place cards. Her reception table numbers were amazing. They also incorporated big yellow balloons into their wedding photos. Every detail was perfect, right down to her shoes.

Chrystabel Photography captured the brightness of the yellow elements and the subtle charcoal colors in every shot. Alex Totsi at Chrystabel Photography did a fantastic job of showing the fun and playful side of Jen, Micah and their wedding party.

Kellie and Daniel

In May of 2010, I did flowers for Shawn, a childhood friend of mine. Kellie was a bridesmaid in Shawn's wedding and hired me for her November wedding. Kellie's wedding colors were brown and yellow and she wanted a sweet and sophisticated design full of yellow roses.

The rainy weather provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic wedding. Lord Hill Farms was a perfect wedding location for Kellie and Daniel. Their photographer, Kayla, got some amazing photos of them in the rain. They are such huge Seattle Seahawks fans that the bridal party donned jerseys for a few pictures.

Shawn and Nick

Shawn was one of my first friends when I moved to Woodinville. She lived down the street and her father was my softball coach. In junior high her family moved away and sadly we lost touch. Thanks to Facebook we were able to reconnect with each other and had dinner to celebrate her engagement.

Her wedding colors were bright sunset colors with charcoal accents. They were married at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish. Shawn's favorite flower is the gerber daisy so I made sure her floral arrangements included them. Her bouquet had yellow accents, her maid of honors bouquets had orange accents and the bridesmaids bouquets had pink accents.

Stephanie and Adam

Stephanie and Adam were married at The Edgewater Hotel in downtown Seattle. This venue has one of the most beautiful views of the Seattle waterfront I have ever seen. Their wedding was two weeks before Christmas so Stephanie chose a sophisticated holiday themed decor. She chose red roses for her bouquet and white roses with red hypericum berries for her bridesmaids. The reception centerpieces were floating cranberries and a candle in a clean cylinder vase. The candlelight from the centerpieces were perfect lighting for their winter wedding.
